The Stefaniak Group is a locally owned, highly experienced team of real estate agents.
The Company consists of 8 family members, plus high producing sales agents and top level support staff. The four Stefaniak partners have over 125 years combined experience. Today's real estate transaction is very complex. Our experience and reputation in the metro market are key ingredients to a smooth closing.
We take great pride in the Stefaniak name being recognized as a mainstay in the real estate industry for more than 60 years. Our story began with Eugene A. Stefaniak, who established Stefaniak Realty Inc. in 1965 after starting his real estate career with Wauwatosa Realty. His older brother, Norbert J. Stefaniak, a certified public accountant and tenured UW-Milwaukee business professor, also had his real estate beginnings with Wauwatosa Realty, as the firm’s treasurer. (Fun fact: John A. Horning, founder of Wauwatosa Realty, is the uncle of Norb’s wife, Elizabeth.) Later in 1965, Norb joined his brother, Gene, in growing Stefaniak Realty. Gene and Norb quickly established a strong reputation for their expertise, extra effort and strong ethics. Over time, the brothers grew Stefaniak Realty to approximately 235 sales agents and support staff at five offices. Gene and Norb owned and operated the Coldwell Banker franchise in the Milwaukee area for many years. After long and distinguished careers, they sold the franchise back to the Coldwell Banker corporation in 1999.
In late 2000, the second generation – Peter M. Stefaniak, Peter S. Stefaniak, Beth Stefaniak Savas and Jean Stefaniak -- began a new era in Stefaniak real estate by establishing The Stefaniak Group LLC – a brokerage solidly focused on providing personalized real estate services for clients.
Today, The Stefaniak Group is led by our broker owners Peter M. Stefaniak, Jean Stefaniak, Peter S. Stefaniak and his daughter, Courtney Stefaniak (that makes three generations!). Our leadership is supported by additional family members – Beth Stefaniak Savas, Ryan Stefaniak, Tracy Stefaniak Borgardt and Anne Stefaniak Spaltholz – plus other key successful real estate agents: Rich McNelis & Shayna Porter, Dana Karow, Gary, Mary Kay, & Sydnie Swittel, and Stephanie Schell.
Our company bears our family name, and with that comes a strong desire to deliver our absolute best service to our clients.
